Mombasa is the gateway to the Kenyan coast and has
some of the best four and five star dive sites in
Africa. There are several different types of reef,
all pristine and exceptionally beautiful. From multicolored
hanging reefs to large brain corals, all are complemented
by the smooth, sandy sea floor and an incredible array
of marine life. Some of the commonly seen species
includes: trigger fish, moray eels, angelfish, butterfly
fish, giant groupers, parrotfish, wrasses, scorpionfish,
pufferfish, damselfish, manta rays, snappers, green
sea turtles, hawksbill turtles and reef sharks. Seasonal
visits can also be expected from Humpback whales and
whale sharks. The huge range of dive areas also means
there is an extremely diverse range of diving activities,
from drift reef diving, to deep dives and spectacular
night dives.

Getting
a diving certificate is your ticket to a lifetime
of underwater adventure. The Professional Association
of Diving Instructors, or PADI, is the most widely
recognized and respected rating in the world. Once
you become a certified diver, you have the freedom
to dive independent of an instructor. And the good
news is that the PADI system is modular, meaning that
you can learn to dive a piece at a time, and if you
only have time for part of the course, what you’ve
done won’t be wasted. If you’ve already
got your Open Water certificate, why not try a more
advanced course that will give you even more freedom
in your diving. There is always plenty to learn, so
contact us for more information about the exciting
range of options available. If, for example, you choose
to pursue your advanced certificate, you will get
the chance to try ocean dives, night dives, deep dives
and navigational dives.
